Sand / Media blasting is a general term used to describe the act of spraying tiny particles of sand / media at high pressure to strip the surface down to bare metal.  At Prism we use numerous kinds of abrasive to prepare the surface prior to powder coating.  Sandblasting is highly effective at rust removal, and paint removal.
